Peace and Freedom

The South China Morning Post is reporting on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 that the UK will mobilize the international community in protest against China if China violates the “one country, two systems” for the turnover of Hong Kong from the UK to China made in 1984.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg says the UK has been too quiet and reserved and the world needs to know that China is seriously planning to withdroaw guaranteed human rights from the people of Hong Kong in violation of the 1984 agreement.

The deputy prime minister has criticised his coalition partners, including the prime minister, for being too deferential to China
